Wales The True Taste Food and Drink Awards

Now in it’s eighth year, the Wales The True Taste Food and Drink Awards reflect the increased demand from consumers for locally sourced produce, with the 2009/10 awards seeing 860 entries from over 400 companies. Managed by the Welsh Assembly Government, the independently judged awards were founded to recognise and reward quality and innovation across the food, drink and hospitality sectors.

In Mid Wales there is a wide array of winners of a Wales The True Taste Food and Drink Award, with over 60 winning food and drink producers and a host of restaurants, hotels, pubs, cafes and tea rooms who have won the ‘Eating Out’ category.
